Karen Green
Director of Operations for Redeemed Home
I was born and raised on the west side of Cincinnati. I've been
married for 36 years and we've raised 3 awesome kids, now adults, who have
blessed us with 4 grand-kids. I've done many jobs most of which have been in
administration or accounting. I love to hike, garden, read and spend time with
family. I began my work with BLOC in November of 2017 as assistant to BLOC's founder, Dwight Young; then in July of 2018, I took a second role as Administrative Director of
Redeemed Homes and House Manager. I love being involved with Redeemed Home, building
relationships with ladies who have so much hurt and pain in their lives. To
love on them and help guide them on their new journey, showing them the love
that Jesus has for them - it's priceless! I also love to keep my hands in
administration, scheduling, etc. It helps me to be more aware of the
overall work of BLOC and I love helping people. My vision is to keep on keeping on until the Lord calls
me to do something new. To continue to be a mentor, friend and leader to
those around me - pointing them to the One who give us life.
"Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not
be shaken. My salvation and my honor depend on God; He is my mighty rock, my
refuge. Trust in Him at all times, oh people. Pour out your hearts to Him, for
God is our refuge." - Psalm 62:5-8
