Weightless Anchor served over 300 women in the past year at our day shelter. Services included a shower, clean set of clothes and toiletry kit to take with them, a hot meal, needle exchange, wound care, HIV/HEP C testing, STD testing, transportation to medical services, peer support services and help identifying recovery resources and getting to recovery centers.

Neighborhood HUB served almost 300 youth in the past year through after school activities, mentoring and family focused events.

Last school year, 105 students graduated from BLOC’s Teaching Kitchen program. The program taught them the culinary skills needed to find well-paying, better-than-entry-level jobs.

Over the past year, Farm to Table served over 3,800 neighbors through farmer markets, area school field trips and reachout events, with the goal of making healthy eating available to all.

Immigrant Welcome Center

The Immigrant Welcome Center has expanded the focus to become a hub of resources for all immigrants in our region. Due to increased demand, we are offering five ESOL classes per semester this year, compared to three classes at this time last year. We are currently serving

First of its kind in Southwest Ohio, Horses on the Hill offers equine-assisted therapy to some of the most vulnerable children, teens and women living in the heart of urban Cincinnati. Equine-related activities currently serve 40-50 adults and children per week, which includes individual and group sessions. Family activities occur seasonally, serving an additional 150-200 neighbors.
