Mission Team Host

In 2020, I graduated from Ozark Christian College where I learned 3 things about myself: I am positive that birds are now government drones, I do not think there is anything a Coke Icee cannot fix, and that I want to serve, love, and tell people about Jesus until the end of my days. While in college and working to earn my degree in children's ministry, the Lord shaped my heart towards urban outreach. I grew up in a small town in Oklahoma, but my heart has always been for the city and the people in it. I moved to Price Hill in 2021 after applying on a whim and trusting the Lord with whatever came next. I love working for BLOC, but specifically the BLOC Missions Team, because I get the opportunity to show people from outside the neighborhood how BLOC builds relationships with their neighbors and shares hope in brokenness. My vision is to continue growing in the verse that my college professor calls the secret sauce of any relationship: "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourself, not looking to your own interest but each of you to the interest of others" (Phil. 2:3-4). This is my hope so that I can continue to share the grace of Jesus to those around me.
