Olivia Palmore
Redeemed Press Director
My name is Olivia, I was born and
raised here on the west side of Cincinnati. I am currently attending Gateway
Community and Technical College working towards an associate degree in human
services. I have three beautiful children and we live in Newport, Kentucky.
My family attended events that BLOC
hosted back in the 90’s, and I was part of the Bible study that Dwight led at
Delhi Middle School. More recently, I was a resident of the Redeemed Home and
graduated in 2021. The six months that I lived with the women of Redeemed
completely changed my life. I was pregnant and on the verge of being homeless
with a shameful past. The staff and volunteers of Redeemed Home loved me so
hard that I began to love myself. I was able to face my past and heal from deep
seeded trauma. Judy specifically gave me an entire toolbox of knowledge with
her DBT classes. Our weekly Bible studies gave me a deeper understanding of the
Word and offered me a safe space to ask questions and be vulnerable with other
sisters in Christ. The most important thing I learned there was to trust God’s
timing. He is always right on time, and I find such peace in that.
During my time there Stephanie and
I discovered we shared a similar dream. At the Springs we had our first
conversation about a vision for a greeting card business that could partner
with the Cincinnati Type and Print Museum. Since that initial conversation, God
has been working behind the scenes to orchestrate what we now can call Redeemed
Press. I am humbled and so grateful for this
opportunity to serve our community and partner with the amazing BLOC staff.
