I am from Greentown, Indiana. I graduated from Ozark Christian
College in Joplin, Missouri in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in Biblical Justice. I
live in Lower Price Hill with my husband, Will, our son, and our two cats. I
love cooking, gardening, experiencing new cultures, and trying new restaurants
around Cincinnati! I started working with BLOC in 2017 and serve on staff at Weightless Anchor in Lower Price Hill.
I do what I do with BLOC because I am passionate about
empowering women to use their gifts and strengths to heal and grow regardless
of their circumstance. My vision for my role with BLOC is to continue to go
deeper in my relationships with the women in our neighborhoods, and help create a
community that is safe and healthy for them to thrive.
My favorite story from the Bible is the story of Jesus
healing the bleeding woman and interrupting social norms to restore her dignity
in front of her community.
"...Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. Then he said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace'.” - Luke 8:43-48
