Andrea Holtman
Director of Weightless Anchor
I was adopted at birth by my
incredible parents in Liberty Township, OH, who raised me to be the first
female professional baseball player in MLB. Unfortunately, I fell 'just' short
of that dream and instead graduated college, got married, and had three kids
all in a 14-month span (not recommended). Now in my 42nd year of
life I'm starting to work on what I want to be when I grow up - that's why I began at BLOC Ministries in April 2019. As the Director of Weightless
Anchor, I have a heart for women
and I believe that everyone (including the trafficked, addicted, abused,
abandoned) need to be given a chance to feel loved without cost. I get the
chance every day to be a love disciple and show every single person I meet that they are a blessed child of God. My vision and goals for every
aspect of my life are to continue moving wherever God leads me. I have no idea
what the road ahead looks like - I only know that He is paving the way. I want
to use the gifts that He gave me to tip the kingdom in His favor. I
pray that we are able to eradicate drug abuse, human trafficking, violence,
poverty, and homelessness from Price Hill.
"For the moment all discipline
seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of
righteousness to those who have been trained by it." - Hebrews 12:11
