Director of Women's Ministry

 
I am one of the daughters of Dwight and Stephanie Young, founders of our ministry.  I am married to Chris, who also works for BLOC, and we have the blessing of raising our 5 boys on mission as a family in Price Hill.

I was raised doing ministry alongside my dad since BLOC was founded, and chose to take a full-time position with BLOC in 2012.  I am the Director of Women’s Ministry where I get to work alongside some very talented ladies leading our various ministries. I focus on staff care and overall vision and networking for future plans of our ministries.

Women’s ministry started with Weightless Anchor in 2012, and has since grown to having transitional homes in Redeemed, Jail Ministry, and prevention programs for young girls against sex trafficking. I love that we as a ministry see a need for our women we serve, and we have the flexibility and assertiveness to start programs that help fill that need. I am completely blessed by the women who are on my team and the passions they have for the women they serve in our community.
