I grew up in Springfield, OH in an encouraging family of five and attended Johnson University in Knoxville, TN where I studied Entrepreneurship and Bible & Theology alongside an incredible community of people. For years I have been passionate about the craft of coffee and the way coffee shops are such natural spaces for hospitality and community building. I had the amazing opportunity of interning with BLOC in the summer of 2020, primarily at the coffee shop, Weightless Anchor, and the after-school program, and I quickly fell in love with Price Hill. I found that the ways BLOC chose to creatively and consistently be present with their neighbors were such beautiful expressions of Christ’s reconciling work in the world. My fiancé, Johnny, and I knew we wanted to be a part of this community who listened and responded to the needs of those in Price Hill while being woven into the fabric of the neighborhood itself and pointing toward hope. I am incredibly excited to live and work in this beautiful neighborhood while serving delicious cups of coffee at BCC, spending time with the amazing women at Weightless Anchor, and just getting to know the people on our street!
