I was born in Cranford, NJ lots of years ago. I attended high school and college mostly in Virginia where most my family of still lives. I earned a Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy and a Masters degree in Human Resources Development, which focuses on adult learning in the work place. My husband, Jim, and I have been married 32 years and have 2 grown, adopted children (Max and Melody) who live locally. We moved to the Cincinnati area in 2008. Our household includes two rotten dogs and two spoiled cats. My time with BLOC began very recently in the Spring of 2019 as a volunteer with Weightless Anchor on Mansion Ave. I now serve as the house manager for the Lower Price Hill Weightless Anchor location.
God has very clearly brought me to this time and place, but I have no concrete understanding of why. I have a heart for women and for sharing Christ with everyone. He’s placed me here, and I eagerly look forward to experiencing what He will do. Serving is my "love language," so I’ll do it here! Because I am so new with BLOC, my vision for LPH and my role here is continuing to develop; mostly as He reveals it to me. I would no doubt be totally overwhelmed if it was any other way.
